About Me

Western North Dakota , United States
My husband, Allen, and I are high school sweet hearts. We started dating Sep.99'- I kind of followed Allen home one day, and never did leave, is Allen's story. November 02' we were engaged, and on November 22,2003 - we were married. Having been married for 6 years in 2009, marked the 5th year we had been trying to start our family. With the referral of a Fertility Specialist from a friend, our IUI attempts ended up being a complete success despite my doubts. We welcomed our sweet little girl, Hayleigh into the world on June 30,2010 at 6:28am after 37wks and 1 day of gestation. She weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 20 in long. We found out that we were Baby #2 on April Fool's Day- a complete surprise! Reid Allen was born 11/13/12 3:24am 9lbs 8.2oz 21", after 38wks 5 days. Our 3rd baby, Eva Jane, was born on April 19, 2015 after suffering a pregnancy loss June of 2014. We are currently anxiously awaiting baby #4 due 2 days before Eva's birthday, so we are having Irish Twins! Our family is so blessed and happy to be growing!

Recap of the week

I was stumped at what the write about lately. That was until I got on iTunes.. yes, I'm an iTunes junkie... Well, I'll recap the week so far.

Monday, Allen flew out around noon- that is the most depressing day of the week for me by far.

Tuesday, ummmmm we spent 20 minutes of the mid morning outside, in our swim suits. Hayleigh played with her sprinkler, and I sat and sunned- actually have some color now. We come in, I fixed lunch and supper, watched Toy Story again, and that was pretty much it.

20wks with "Tate" on the 4th of July

Wednesday, was the 4th of July, we sat around all day, ended up watching fireworks on tv- since we have a stage 1 drought here, and they were postponed. I teared up a little watching it- this is the first year Allen and I were apart for it. Hayleigh danced her little heart out until tripping over her own feet, and busted her lip. I went to bed late, and laid there for a while, not being able to sleep- "Tate" was balled up on my left side, and moving around and kicking soo much! He has been so laid back, that I've  forgotten how much I missed feeling a baby moving around in my belly, since Hayleigh was born. I laid there, with my hand on my belly, savoring it all. Made me cry- feeling him move like that is a very special thing- kind of like our own special first I Love Yous.... Nice way to celebrate making it to 20wks on that day...

Thursday, we shopped until we dropped. Hit sale after sale- got "Tate" some clothes, and Hayleigh clothes as well. Weird shopping for two kids now, but nice to get to hit both the boy and girls sections.

Today, I made 5 onesies for Tate- all so stinkin cute. I cannot wait to put them on him! We lounged around all day, I mowed the yard, watered everything, killed hornets, played with Hayleigh in the yard, and sat here after Hayleigh's bath and when she went to bed, enjoying the kicks and moving from "Tate"

I still have to make Hayleigh a big sis shirt, and a few others for Tate, but the lil bro and big sis are the outfits I want them to wear when Tate comes home from the hospital with us after he is born. I've had that planned since a few hours after we found out he was on the way, while looking for big sister to be shirts. It really blows my mind that I'm no longer just shopping for 1 kid anymore- this Christmas, we will have 2! That's a big difference!
