Yes, that is right, I have a wish list of things I want to get done before Tate gets here, and I don't have any time taking care of a newborn, and a two year old. Right now, I have all of the time in the world to get these things done, but I am not motivated to do it all. So, I thought with actually writing a list out I could maybe start to get a slight bit motivated to do something, besides hang out with Hayleigh and troll the internet all day.
1. Get all of Hayleigh's scrap books completed up to now, and pictures scanned and uploaded to an online site. I really want to do this, so pictures are not lost if something were to happen to them, and to also make me a bit more organized.
2. Finish organizing the garage, even though we will probably be looking for a bigger place when our rent contract is up next year. Tate's room is just very tiny, and we do not have room for more toys right at this moment for two kids.
3. Get my tv table from Sutherlands, and get our movies, games, and just that stuff organized. For the time being, I have not even attempted to do much about it, because I keep thinking we will be going to pick the silly thing up soon.
4. Start up a chore list for me. Days of the week, with certain things I have to do. I am all about lists after all.
5. Get Hayleigh on a preschool list. I have been freaking out about this a little bit.. Next fall she will be in preschool!!
6. Meet more people. I don't like to leave the house much, and I know with Tate here, we will not be going much of anywhere. So, if I want to get a few more friends here, I need to get out more.
7. Organize our closet, and get rid of clothes we no longer wear.
8. Get Tate's closet organized, and start setting up the nursery
9. Visit back home at least one time before I can't travel anymore
10. Get a will drawn up for both Allen and I.
11. Get a better stock pile of groceries- we need to hit Sam's club sometime. I want to start being able to not have to go shopping but once or twice a month, except for bread, milk, and small stuff like that, that does not keep.
12. Start up my own little on the side business on Etsy.com. I've been wanting to do something like that for my spare time, and to help contribute a little bit, but it just has not worked out yet.
13. Do something special for our dating anniversary, since our wedding anniversary is the day after my due date, and falls on Thanksgiving this year.
14. Get photo books made and start getting into the groove of sending them back home when they go on sale.
15. Get my Christmas shopping started umm.... like a month ago. Otherwise, I will be only buying online- but I LOVE shopping online. Still, I need to get this squared away, making lists for everyone on what to get them, and getting ready for a busy winter season.
16. Do more activities with Hayleigh- take more walks. This I really want to do, but until the last week, it has been really hot, and I get tired really easy, then resulting in me getting grouchy, then Hayleigh is also grouchy, and I feel like I am a bad mom when I'm grouchy. I want to be the best mom
I think that is it. I realize that I am not Super Mom, but if I could manage to get all of these things done, and keep them up, I would be beyond thrilled!
